Sorry folks, how are you doing on this rather foggy Glasgow day? I've been awake since 6:45am this morning in the hopes of making a full day of study. Unfortunately, fatigue is beginning to set in and I'm not getting much done in terms of [good] work. I had a meeting with one of my instructors this morning that went pretty well. I think I've found most of my key sources for my 3,000 word paper so hurray me. I present my topic next week where I'll get feedback from the other students who will let me know if my idea is crap or worth pursuing. Good stuff huh?
Otherwise, I've just been reading said materials all morning and taking notes and organizing the PowerPoint. It would be an animated extravaganza but it will get my points across. I'm just psyched I get to write a paper on Jurassic 5/Jazz, Richard Cheese/Cab Calloway and Rage Against the Machine/[TBA]; you'd read that paper, right? Exactly.
Since my brain is shot from reading all morning I'm going to switch up libraries and start making my list of what I want to write a feature article on. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any, the only requirement is that it has something to do with movies or the film industry. Go nuts!
That's all for now, enjoy this picture of my kick-ass work station since 10am this morning. It may not look like much but it's one of the most sought after places in the library. It's crunch time for everybody at the university so a quiet place to sit and study with a convenient outlet to keep the computer charged (this is key) is hard to come by. The only way you get one is by showing up early or being a lucky son-of-a-gun. I was a combination of both today though I did have to do about 15 minutes of scouting to actually find this spot.
Well, I don't have anything else for you so there's obviously no point in being on your computer unless you want to check out the new review on Jump Cuts. So go outside and enjoy the day. Perhaps it's time to start that workout regiment
Cheers!
